Let's tell you more about Cotton Sateen:
We always prefer using 100% Egyptian Cotton Sateen in our bed linen with a fabulous and trendy designs. Which has been woven to create a light and supple fabric with the advantages of pure Cotton Sateen. It’s just the thing to add boho-chic style and a touch of color to your bedroom!
Cotton Sateen isn't the same as that slippery, shiny satin you find in clothing. Because the cotton is woven to create a sheen (rather than being inherently shiny).
Why Cotton Sateen?!
- Strong and Resistant to stress.
- Extremely soft to touch.
- Smooth, silk-like feel.
- Softer, heavier & warmer.
- Luxurious, shiny look.
- Less pilling less shrinkage
Why TC 400??
Thread count means the number of threads woven together in a square inch. You count both lengthwise (warp) and widthwise (weft) threads. So 100 lengthwise threads woven with 100 widthwise threads produce a thread count of 200. And The higher of the TC number = the more soft and accurate the fabric will become. So 400 TC which we use is high quality material.
Satin Vs Sateen?
Though the weave is very similar, as is the appearance and texture, however, satin and sateen are made from different fibers. Originally, satin was made from 100% silk thread. Indeed, the higher quality satin still is. For durability, maximum shine, and cost effectiveness, however, satin is now also made from nylon or polyester – frequently a blend of all three. While satin made from synthetic fibers tends not to breathe so easily as natural silk, the effect of the fabric is very much the same.
Sateen, on the other hand, is made entirely from cotton. Isn’t it amazing that cotton can be that smooth and shiny? Typically, the cotton used is carded, combed, or mercerized to assist with the characteristic “silkiness.”
Our Cotton Sateen sheets are available in TC 300 - 400, as well as a variety of colors and patterns. Cotton Sateen is a suitable festive gift for various occasions.
